Q1. Who Is Clean Factory?
Clean Factory is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-end custom watches, precision components, and advanced watch modification. The company primarily focuses on watches inspired by designs from high-end luxury watch brands and has built a strong reputation within the custom watch industry for its attention to detail, component development, and technical refinement.
Before 2019, Clean Factory was commonly known within the industry as the “Green Factory” and was also referred to as “ZZ Factory.”
One of Clean Factory’s early milestones was the development of its green ceramic bezel technology. Before 2019, green ceramic bezels produced by many manufacturers tended to appear noticeably darker, with a muted green tone that collectors sometimes referred to as “dark green” or “duck-pond green.”
Clean Factory subsequently developed a more refined green ceramic bezel, achieving a brighter and more accurate color tone. This development became one of the defining improvements associated with Clean Factory at the time. By around April–May 2020, similar ceramic bezel technology had become available from other manufacturers as well, contributing to higher standards across the custom watch industry.
Clean Factory has also placed significant emphasis on movement development and reliability. In 2021, the company became one of the early manufacturers in the industry to adopt the Dandong 3235 movement, improving the stability and overall performance of its watches.

Our commitment to precision extends across the entire watch. Components including bracelets, clasps, crowns, dials, hands, and other key parts are engineered to achieve one-to-one interchangeability with corresponding original components, with a strong focus on dimensional accuracy, fit, finishing, and overall consistency.
Rather than focusing solely on the final appearance, we continuously refine the individual components and manufacturing processes that define the performance and character of a high-end custom watch.

Q3. Are Your Products Genuine?
No. Our products are not genuine watches manufactured by the original luxury watch brands.
Clean Factory specializes in the development and manufacturing of high-end custom watches. Our products are independently manufactured and are designed with a strong focus on precision, craftsmanship, materials, and attention to detail.
While our watches may incorporate design elements inspired by high-end luxury watch brands, they are not original or officially authorized products from those brands.
We believe transparency is essential. Our products are presented as high-end custom watches, not as genuine luxury-brand watches.
Q4. Why Do Replica Watches of the Same Model Have Different Prices?
There can be significant differences in price between replica watches of the same model. This is mainly because different manufacturers use different materials, components, manufacturing processes, and levels of finishing.
The main differences may include:
1. Workmanship and attention to detail
Different manufacturers have different levels of experience and production capabilities. Differences can be seen in areas such as case finishing, dial details, hands, bezel, bracelet, and other small components.
2. Materials and components
Attention to detail extends to the individual components of our watches. We use high-quality components that are designed as direct alternatives to those found on the corresponding genuine timepieces. Selected components, including our Buff dials and hands, are designed to be 1:1 interchangeable with the corresponding genuine components.
With regard to materials, except for precious-metal models such as genuine gold and platinum, our watches use materials that closely correspond to those used in the genuine timepieces. Our stainless-steel bracelets are made entirely from 904L stainless steel.
The combination of carefully selected materials, interchangeable components, and detailed finishing is an important part of our approach to producing high-quality custom and modified timepieces.
3. Movement
The movement is one of the most important factors affecting a watch’s overall quality, reliability, and service life. It plays a critical role in determining how consistently and reliably a watch can operate over the long term.
Most of our watches use high-quality Chinese-made Dandong movements, designed to closely replicate the structure, functions, and appearance of the corresponding genuine movements. Dandong movements are considered among the best movements currently available in the replica watch market, making them an important part of the overall quality and performance of our watches.
4. Assembly and quality control
The skill of the individual assembler, production environment, assembly procedures, and quality-control standards can also affect the final product.
These factors are not absolute, and the differences can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and from one model to another. With many manufacturers producing similar models, products with very different levels of finishing and construction can exist under the same model name.
For this reason, when comparing products, it is important to look beyond the overall appearance and consider the materials, movement, finishing, construction, and other details.
Q5. Can Others Tell Whether It Is a Replica?
Replica watch manufacturing technology has become increasingly sophisticated, and the quality of different products can vary significantly depending on their materials, components, movement, and level of finishing.
For our higher-end timepieces, particularly products in the $800+ range, considerable attention is given to the movement, materials, proportions, finishing, and small details. Under normal circumstances, someone without specialized watchmaking knowledge may find it difficult to distinguish a high-quality replica from a genuine timepiece based on appearance alone.
That said, genuine timepieces still benefit from the original manufacturers' proprietary technologies, engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes. These advantages cannot be completely reproduced.
For example, precious-metal models involving materials such as 18K gold, white gold, or platinum can be customized, but the associated material and manufacturing costs are inherently different. Similarly, while our movements are designed as 1:1 reproductions of the corresponding genuine movements in terms of appearance, structure, and functions, they cannot fully replicate the proprietary technology and manufacturing expertise of the original manufacturer.

Q6. Can the Watch Be Inspected at an Authorized Boutique?
Authorized boutiques are primarily responsible for sales and customer services and generally do not provide formal authentication services for watches purchased elsewhere. For professional inspection or servicing, you would normally need to contact the brand's authorized service center, subject to the brand's own policies and requirements.
No replica watch should be expected to pass an official authentication or service inspection as a genuine timepiece. Genuine manufacturers have proprietary technologies, manufacturing processes, materials, and internal specifications that cannot be completely reproduced.

Q7. Didn’t Clean Factory Close Down?
Clean Factory did temporarily suspend production due to certain issues, but the suspension lasted only a few months. Production resumed around the middle of this year.
During the period when Clean was less visible in the market, production did not completely stop. In fact, some products associated with other manufacturers were also produced by Clean on a contract manufacturing basis during this period.
Clean has now returned to production and continues to focus on the models and product categories in which it has established strengths, including Datejust, Day-Date, Submariner, GMT-Master II, and Daytona, among others.
We remain committed to the same quality standards that have defined Clean in the past, with continued attention to materials, movements, components, finishing, and overall manufacturing quality.

Every manufacturer has its own areas of expertise. For Clean, our primary strength is appearance and overall visual accuracy — one of the most important factors when evaluating a replica timepiece.

Q9. What Is the Warranty Coverage?
We provide a two-year warranty for the movement of our watches.
The warranty covers movement-related issues that occur under normal use and are not caused by accidental or人为 damage, improper handling, unauthorized modification, or other external factors.
Before leaving our facility, each watch is carefully inspected to ensure that the movement is functioning properly and that the product meets our quality standards.
Our goal is to provide reliable products and continued support while maintaining the quality standards that Clean has always been known for.
Q10. Why Are There Only a Few Models Available?
As many people know, Clean temporarily suspended production for a period of time and only resumed production a few months ago.
At the moment, most of our production lines have not yet been fully reopened.We are currently focusing on selected models and gradually restoring our production capacity.
As production continues to resume, we plan to expand our product range and bring it back toward the level and range that Clean was known for in the past.
